A search for Stamford, Connecticut's Italian American history began in the archives and continued with dozens of interviews. The story that emerged included not only culture, but also generosity and cooperation among the city's various ethnic groups. Italian American descendants describe Stamford in the 1930s through the 1960s and the echoes of history that exist today.
